Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Avalon Park mobile application ("App") handles information. The App helps residents browse the local business directory and community events for Avalon Park Orlando. The App is published by Matthew Chapman.
Information we collect
- Push notifications. If you enable notifications, the App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to register your device and subscribe you to topics you choose (for example, new events, business of the week, or community announcements). Apple provides a device token for delivery. We do not receive your name or email address through the App for this purpose.
- Public community content. The App loads business listings, events, and related settings from our Firebase database. This content is intended for public display in the community directory and calendar.
- Local storage on your device. The App may cache directory and event data on your device so it remains available when you are offline. This data stays on your device.
Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account in the App.
- We do not ask you to submit personal information such as your name, email address, or home address through the App itself.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Messaging) for community content and push notification delivery. Google Privacy Policy

Links and device actions
When you tap a phone number, address, or website in the App, your device opens the Phone, Maps, or browser apps. Those actions are handled by your device and operating system. We do not store those actions in the App.
Children
The App is intended for general community use and is not directed at children under 13 years of age.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
